RSQ-2500C 100kHz-2500MHz calibrated

The RSQ-2500C is a stable transfer standard for calibration of measurement parameters. The reference and radiation source can be used from accredited EMC and EMI test Labs to not norm-conformed measuring environments, to determine also correlation data for the standard measurement environment.

The comparative radiation source RSQ-2500C is a precise reference radiation of a variety of EMC problems. The frequency range of 100kHz ... 2,5GHz can be conducted comparisons (calibration). In addition, with the extremely compact biconical antenna it is possible to make field-related field provisions, measuring space absorption, shielding effectiveness and calibration of measurement between 30MHz and 1000MHz. The battery-operated device works up to 9 hours with one battery charge.

Application example for RSQ-2500C is the reference measurement method
With the help of RSQ-2500C, the correction factor would be determined for the interference frequency to be evaluated. This is necessary for the level determination. This is possible, because the calibration also mentions in 3 and 10m measuring distance to the expected level values. These values would be determined without environmental influences therefore, they form the basis for determining the environmental conditions of each test side. "These environmental influences" in dB can be applied directly as a correction value.

With the reference method, an accuracy of < ±4dB can be achieved
If the horizontal and vertical measuring attenuation is within ±4 dB, the "alternative test side" is standardized!

Indispensable for quality and verification of EMC test systems according to  EN17025.

Conclusion:
If you want to save your measuring quality by comparing measurements according EN17025, then the VSQ-2500 is sufficient.

Standardized test side emission measurements and corrections, however, can only be made with the RSQ-2500C. Of course you can meet the requirements EN17025 with the RSQ-2500C.
