The TEN-TEC RX-340 is a multi-mode receiver that uses the large amount of digital signal processing (DSP). Through the DSP technology, the RX-340, is as good as the very expensive devices in the military field. The continuous frequency range of 5kHz to 30MHz can be tuned in 1Hz steps.

The RX-340 has already a digital IF output. The performance level of the receivers in this category is only possible through extensive use of DSP.
