The universal reconnaissance vehicle with two working places

The Sunexpress is prepared for all reconnaissance missions.

Climate, power supply, appointed with storage, high roof, telescopic, communications- and computer network, everything is intended.

Climate:
- Outdoor: -30°C or +60°C (direct sun until +80°C)
- Indoor: pleasant work temperature

Thanks to highly effective isolation in soil, walls, high roof and the high efficiency of air conditioning, the reserve of the on-board battery (at the maximum outdoor temperature) for cooling is 4 hours.

Interior: professional complete disassembly with plenty of storage space, brackets and stretch-resistant surface. The complete infrastructure is operational "invisible" installed. Both workstations are equipped with comfortable seats with comfort-tilt, armrest and seat belt.

2 also built-in 19" racks, each with 12 HE, offers enough place for several reconnaissance systems.

A front-camera toward the front allows the orientation to the working places in the closed interior, also it is available to use this camera by the IP-address with each computer on the network.

High roof: throughout the entire length of the vehicle covers a mounted fiberglass raised roof with about 80cm headroom. The original metal roof of the vehicle serves as an antenna carrier and is also shielding for the interior. A lockable trapdoor to the floor allows a continuous change of the antenna equipment.
In the antenna level, there is in the retracted state the head of the fixed telescopic. The operation of the remote controlled roof window, placed above, shall be made according to the pneumatic control of the mast.

Telescopic: in the extended state of the mast, the masthead will be 5 meters over ground and allows thus all possibilities for the use of revolving directed antenna and/or video cameras. Using the built-in compressed air system, the mast can be quickly brought into any desired height.

Communication: to connect with the "outside world", the Sunexpress is equipped with GSM, UMTS and WLAN. An intercom system from the two working places to the driver enables the "internal communication".

IT-network: the in-vehicle integrated IT-network with the connected reconaissance system is TCP/IP based and can be quickly integrated into higher level networks. Heart of the system is a high performance server with removable mass storage devices. Each of the two working places is equipped with a large industrial monitor. This facilitates working with complex analytical tools or when using high-resolution surveillance cameras.

Operation experience: The Sunexpress is used with great success to combat criminals. The vehicle is equipped with a system for GSM- and video reconnaissance (2 high-performance day/night cameras on the mast).
Even at extreme temperatures in the desert (body >80°C), the temperature of the interior could be kept without motor assistance permanently at <30°C.

Summery: The universal design concept Sunexpress is ideal for all reconnaissance systems. The infrastructure in the vehicle and the lush space with two racks and 12 rack units leaves no wishes unfulfilled.

The optimized infrastructure for climate and energy supply is the result of years of development work on KFOR and ISAF projects.
